Now that the weather is hot and humid. The lakes have been warm. I for one haven’t been running since February. I know, it sounds crazy because running is in my blood. But I’ve dedicated this year to getting better on the bike and trying to gain muscle on my legs. The other Day I had the opportunity to go on a sunrise swim at west shores with my 2 best friends. we met at the lake at 6am for our start and swam just over a mile in total. During the swim we stopped at the island and talked as well as waved to the lone morning fisherman from his dock. We finished the workout before 7am. I used to say the early morning run or late night bike ride was my favorite way to workout. But as of recent that sunrise swim will always get me excited and motivated for the day.
